1. 5 × 1:1 Live Coaching Sessions
This is the core structure of the program: five 60-minute private sessions, each mapped to a key pillar of interview performance, your pitch, story development, mock simulation, compensation prep, and strategic communication. Between sessions, our coach will assign specific prep work and review responses so you’re fully supported throughout your interview timeline.
In Session 1, you’ll work with your coach to build a powerful, concise response to “Tell me about yourself” that sets the tone for the rest of your interview. We’ll help you align your intro to the level of role you’re targeting and ensure you open every conversation with confidence and control.
You’ll develop a tailored portfolio of 6–8 executive-level STAR stories, covering leadership, change, failure, turnaround, collaboration, and impact. Each story will be workshopped and tightened in session, and reviewed in writing between meetings so you’re equipped with repeatable, strategic answers for the most common and difficult behavioral prompts.
You’ll gain frameworks and practice answering high-risk questions, including those about failure, interpersonal conflict, difficult decisions, leadership style, and influencing without authority. Our coach will walk you through patterns in executive questioning and help you stay sharp and authentic under pressure.
You’ll participate in 1–2 full mock interviews simulating the types of stakeholders you’ll face (founder, CEO, board, recruiter). After each mock, your coach will provide granular feedback on content, structure, executive tone, and body language and work with you to close any remaining gaps.
Throughout the program, your coach will help refine your communication style, including tone, delivery speed, eye contact, and strategic pausing, to help you project executive presence both virtually and in person. You’ll also get feedback on how to tailor your energy to the culture of the firm you’re engaging with.
You’ll receive a full suite of CSG-branded tools, including a STAR worksheet, interview preparation tracker, interviewer research prompts, and post-interview email templates. These materials help you structure and document your preparation clearly and systematically.
Between sessions, you’ll have direct access to your coach via email for guidance, feedback, and accountability. Whether you need help tailoring a story to a specific job description, preparing for a last-minute panel, or reviewing a follow-up note, you’ll be fully supported every step of the way.
